Archimede Seguso

Glassworks founded in 1946 by Archimede Seguso, famous glassblower, who became also a designer. He updated old blowing techniques, like the "filigrane" called "piuma" and "merletto" and experimented new wih the heavy glass. He partecipated to several Biennali in Venice. In 1982 he exhibited at "Mille anni del vetro a Venezia". In 1991 at Palazzo Ducale in Venice there was an exhibition "I vetri di Archimede Seguso".
